L’œuvre de Léo Ferré est traversée par les poètes qu’il chantait si bien. Vincent l’écoutait chanter Aragon quand il était Assistant d’anglais en Normandie. Plus tard, en Angleterre, de nombreuses classes de Vincent ont fait la connaissance de Baudelaire en écoutant "L'invitation au voyage" chantée voluptueusement par Léo. Cette conférence nous propose deux plaisirs en même temps: la voix de Léo Ferré et de la belle poésie. Vincent parlera de la vie du chanteur et de celles des poètes qu’il a chantés. Léo Ferré, the Anarchist who Sang the Poetry of the Poets - Rutebeuf, Baudelaire, Verlaine, Rimbaud and Apollinaire
Léo Ferré's work is permeated by the words of the poets he sang so beautifully. Vincent listened to him sing Aragon when he was an English assistant in Normandy. Later, in England, many of Vincent's pupils were introduced to Baudelaire by listening to Léo's voluptuously sing "Invitation au Voyage." This lecture offers us two pleasures at once: the voice of Léo Ferré and beautiful poetry. Vincent will discuss the singer's life and those of the poets he sang - a biographical and musical lecture.
