Welcome to the Chelmsford French Circle. We hope you will share with us a love of France and all things French.

We have an interesting and eclectic programme of conferences of the highest quality, all in French, given by specialists, often with personal experience of their subject. There are talks on history, the arts, language, people and places; theatrical and musical evenings; and, from time to time, themed soirées, such as “Soirée Parisienne”, “Soirée Bretonne”, “Soirée de Noël”, wine tastings and “Soirée Beaujolais”. The talks begin at 8.00 pm in Sandon Village Hall, Woodhill Road, Sandon CM2 7SQ​.

Another important feature of our circle is our conversation evenings where you get to practise French and enjoy yourself in an informal, friendly environment.

Annual membership costs £30, and gives free/reduced-cost access to our conferences, and allows you to attend our free conversation evenings.
