A la Découverte de l’Ecole de Murol

Nichée au cœur de l’Auvergne, cette école de peinture jouit initialement d’un rayonnement local, puis régional, avant de devenir national et international. Elle gagne à être mieux connue. L’École de Murol est formée d’un groupe d’une centaine de peintres impressionnistes et post-impressionnistes dont principalement trois artistes fondateurs : Wladimir Terlikowski, Léon Boudal et son fer de lance Victor Charreton. La conférence permet de découvrir ses principaux artistes ainsi que leurs œuvres.

Discovering the Murol School

Nestled in the heart of Auvergne, this school of painting initially enjoyed local, then regional, influence before becoming national and international. It deserves to be better known. The Murol School is made up of a group of around one hundred Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters, including three founding artists: Wladimir Terlikowski, Léon Boudal, and its spearhead, Victor Charreton. The conference allows visitors to discover its main artists and their works.
